One thing that I noticed while studying for the SWITCH exam is that VTP sections always skip a very important note about how VTP can cause a lot of trouble. A lot of folks including me don't use VTP unless we've been told we have to. But the fact still remains it's on our Cisco exams, it has to be explored and that exploration can lead to some of us deploying it. SWITCH Study Notes – VLAN Trunking Protocol (VTP)

So I'm sorry to be spamming notes here right now – but I'm just trying to create a footprint and maybe help someone else out down the line. The other thing is this phase of studies is like reading the manual before you get to play with something – hmmm, wait I never read the manual! Well we certainly cant do that with these exams though!
